Donation Center Parcs De Eemhof |

Last week the Yamah Foundation received a donation of €500 from Center Parcs De Eemhof.
This money has been raised by sellings in the shop for personell. The money will be put on our bank account for now. In February we will be visiting The Gambia and will find a proper destination for it. More news then! |

Beste sponsoren,
De afgelopen acht jaar hebben wij ons als werkgroep en later als Stichting Yamah bezig gehouden met het voorzien in onderwijs, voeding en medicatie van de leerlingen van de London Corner School (LCS) in Serrekunda, The Gambia. Tjitske, Trudy, Jaap en Gerwin zijn er vanaf het eerste uur bij betrokken geweest. Sanne en Joost zijn na het overlijden van Trudy zich ook meer voor Stichting Yamah gaan inspannen.
Naast de LCS hebben we nog meer mooie projecten mogen doen. Denk aan de aanschaf van een stuk landbouwgrond voor de LCS. De aanleg van een waterput bij dit stuk grond, wat resulteerde in het ontstaan van een nieuw dorp, want water is leven. Het ondersteunen in de opleiding van twee verpleegkundigen van het Narang Medical Health Centre in Jiboro. Nieuw meubilair voor

Is there anyone who has old glasses at home? Glasses are very expensive in The Gambia. During our last trip we brought two bags with glasses and where able to help a lot of people. We delivered the glasses to a medical/health center. A specialist will be able to help someone with problems on eyes and hopefully help them with glasses.
If you are able to help us with this, you can send the glasses to the adress of the Yamah Foundation on this website.

Vandaag is per post het nieuws binnen gekomen dat Stichting Yamah door de Belastingdienst is aangemerkt als Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling (ANBI). Dit is voor Stichting Yamah een mooie stap.
